USA, AZ: Lonesome Valley Brewing is Prescott Valley’s first brewery
Brewery news

The doors are open at Prescott Valley's first brewery. Lonesome Valley Brewing opened in late October, co-owner and brewer Brian Cole said, adding that it took around six months for the pub to go from concept to construction, Prescott Daily Courier reported on January 21.

"The biggest challenge to opening was physical. Working here seven days a week, 24-hours a day, sleeping here, eating here - I definitely would have to say it was physically challenging," Cole said. "At the end it's all worth it."

Cole has been brewing beer for about 10 years, he said. His beers showcase different flavors with lots of body.

"When you are sitting there brewing beer you always think about bringing your beer to people, bringing your art, bringing your passion of what you're doing," Cole said. "So, this was the logical step. To do something like the original local public house; a place where people can come in have a beer."

In addition to serving their own beer, Lonesome Valley Brewing offers a variety of libations such as Woodchuck amber cider, Marble IPA, and red and white wines.

"We are trying to bring a varied selection of craft beers to the community," Cole said. "There's not a lot of places that sell varied beer on a weekly level. So, we are just trying to bring something different."
