USA, MI: Witch's Hat Brewery plans to relocate to a bigger facility
Brewery news

Husband and wife duo Ryan and Erin Cottongim, of Ann Arbor, are experiencing a lot of success in their two short years as the owners of South Lyon’s Witch’s Hat Brewery.

The business has grown so much that the couple will move from their 1,600-square-foot location on Pontiac Trail into a 7,000-square-foot facility down the street, Observer & Eccentric reported on January 23.

The move is expected to take place in December 2014, but in the interim the business will continue to operate out of its Pontiac Trail location.

In addition to the relocation, the Cottongims said they will look to hire an additional 10 to 20 employees, more than doubling their staff of nine people.

Witch’s Hat will increase its brewing capability to 1.24 million pints of beer – or 2,500 barrels – in the new facility, after brewing 350 barrels in its first year and close to 600 in year two.
