Bulgaria: Members of Union of Brewers in Bulgaria invest BGN 264 mln in 5 years

Union of Brewers in Bulgaria invested BGN 264 mln over the past 5 years, Focus reported on April 14.

“Investments made by the members of the Union of Brewers in Bulgaria over the past five years amount to BGN 264 million,” said Ivana Radomirova, executive director of the Union of Brewers in Bulgaria in an interview.

According to Radomirova, only in 2013 the investments made by the union’s members are estimated at BGN 56,504,000.

“These are investments in long-term material assets, which secured improvement and modernisation of the existing capacities and technologies for beer and malt production in the sector,” Radomirova remarked.
