USA, PA: Victory Brewing Co. to open third location in Chester County
Brewery news

Victory Brewing Co. will open its third location in Chester County this October in Kennett Square, delcotimes.com reported on July 16.

Victory’s 250-seat restaurant will have space for outdoor dining and will occupy all 8,138 square feet of the bottom floor of a four-story, luxury apartment building in Kennett Realty Group’s latest upscale residential community.

Victory Brewing Co.’s new location will boast a chef-inspired menu, featuring some of the company’s signature dishes, including the Hand-Tossed Pretzel and Wings of Victory. The space also will be equipped with a five-barrel brewhouse to keep new, site-specific brews — along with Victory’s existing lineup of world-class ales and lagers — flowing. Refillable growlers will be available.

Only beer and wine will be sold at Victory Brewing Co. in Kennett Square. Some of the custom craft beer that will be available will be Hop Devil, Headwaters Pale Ale, Golden Monkey, Victory Lager, Storm King Stout, V Twelve, Helios Saison, Baltic Thunder and Victory Festbier and Hop Wallop. And a custom beer specific to Kennett Square will be offered.

“This place will have all beers we currently make at our Downingtown location, and we will have 30 different flavors on tap,” said Matt Krueger, vice president of operations at Victory Brewing Co. “We’ll have one beer specifically made for Kennett Square. We want to replicate our family oriented establishment we have in Downingtown, but our menu will be different. I think this will be a huge draw for Kennett Square.”

Victory Brewing Co. is a privately held craft brewery headquartered in Downingtown. Begun by Covaleski and Ron Barchet, childhood friends who met on a school bus in 1973, the brewery formally began operations in February 1996. Victory, Pennsylvania’s widely acclaimed brewery and restaurant, now serves fans of fully flavored beers in 31 states.
