China: Guangdong Brewery Holdings Ltd., announced on May 19 it has increased its proposed investment in a new facility. The Chinese brewer expects to invest a total of RMB400m (US$48.32m) in a new plant to produce its Kingway brand. In July last year, Guangdong said it intended to invest RMB350m in the project. The new brewery will have an annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes of beer, the company said.
