USA, TX: Real Ale Brewing Co. to expand its operations
Real Ale Brewing Co. in Blanco, just north of San Antonio, is planning to expand its operations with a new bottling line in an effort to meet rising demand, bizjournals.com reported on September, 17.
The company said statistics look good for continued growth for regional craft brewers across the country. According to the Brewers Association, despite the 2013 1.9 percent decrease in overall beer sales in the U.S., craft beer sales grew 17.2 percent. The niche market is now worth $14.3 bln.
The new bottling line is expected to quadruple Real Ale Brewing’s bottling speed from 100 bottles per minute to 400 bottles per minute.
