USA, NY: Steuben Brewing Co. opens in Hammondsport

Steuben Brewing Co. opened in the Hammondsport area, democratandchronicle.com reported on October, 6.

Steuben Brewing Co. (SBC) is owned and operated by James and Candice Zimar and their sons Rick and Chad Zimar. SBC is a New York State Farm Brewery, meaning that at least 20 percent of their ingredients are locally produced.

The brewery offers flights of beers to taste and sells by the pint and half pint.

Among its beers are N.Y. Rye; Steuben Pilsner; Hopyard IPA; Steuben Brown and Vacation ales; the experimental beers Steuben Cream and Amber ales; and the seasonal beers Strawberry Blonde and Steuben Fall ales.
