Canada, ON: Cannery Brewing to move and expand
Brewery news

Cannery Brewing will soon be leaving the Cannery Trade Centre where it has been located since opening in 2000, and relocating to a former car repair shop in downtown Penticton, Canadian Beer News reported on October, 10.

As co-owner Patt Dyck explains, various parts of the brewery’s operation are currently scattered throughout the Trade Centre, which contravenes B.C. Liquor Control and Licensing Branch regulations requiring everything to be in a single location.

Dyck goes on to say that while it’s unfortunate that the brewery has to leave its namesake original home, she is looking forward to the move, especially as it will provide more convenient access for customers to visit for retail sales and the tasting lounge.

No timeline has been announced for the move, but once it takes place, Dyck expects the brewery will “slowly and carefully” expand their staff.
