France: Malting barley market shows little activity
France’s malting barley market is rather inert, the current crop prices are declining, La Depeche reported on March 10.
Ending stocks of barley in the country remain high as there is no demand for malting barley from the local industries.
According to market sources, a premium is given on the price of Sebastian barley of the current crop. The trading activity remains low, characterized by low demand and low offer.
