Scottish & Newcastle is intending to make an investment in Mythos Breweries SA – a brewing subsidiary of John Boutari and Son Holding SA, Greek company listed in beverage business – by paying £16m cash for 46% quote in Greek beer business, number two in the market. The transaction is going to be realized in August 2002.
