USA, AZ: Copper Canyon Brewing Co. to join the Havasu community

Copper Canyon Brewing Company, located at 1050 N. Lake Havasu Avenue in Lake Havasu City, opened its doors on April 26, and received a positive reception from the community, Havasu News reported two days later.

“It was fantastic,” said owner Greg Wales. “It was all we hoped for. It wasn’t crazy-busy, but we were busy all day.”

Wales attributes his location in front of the London Bridge resort, and its relative distance to other bars such as Barley Brothers and Mudshark's Breweries, to a portion of his success.

“We want to make the best food and the best beer possible,” Wales said. He plans to install chalk boards throughout the brewery to show what other beers may be available at College Street Brewery, Mud Shark Brewery and Barley Brothers.

“This is about the beer, not about the business,” he said. “We’re instituting a lot of things for customers and beer lovers in the area, and we're coming up with ideas on how to create a Havasu pub crawl.”
