USA, MO: Crane Brewing launches crowd funding campaign as the brewery prepares for an August launch

Construction is under way on Crane Brewing's Raytown brewery. The equipment should be arriving mid-May, and brewing should begin in June. The Crane crew is planning the official opening for August, reported Pitch Blogs on August 30.

The brewery has started a crowd-funding campaign through CrowedBrewed with a goal of $40,000.

Crane started the crowd-funding campaign with the goal of picking up some extra barrels, kegs and testing equipment. Crane also wants to do some one-off merchandise and events. And it's a way to give back to the brewery's fans and get them involved, says vice president Chris Meyers.
