USA, FL: Ten 10 Brewing Co. opens in Orlando on July 21

Ten 10 Brewing Co.’s brewery and tasting room officially opened on July 21, Orlando Sentinel reported on the same day.

The Virginia Drive bar in Orlando's Mills 50 district features on-site brewed beer. The brewery will be managed by business partners Mike Wallace and Patrick McPherson.

"We brewed a little bit of everything to try to make everybody happy," said Ten 10 Brewing Co. co-owner and brewer Mike Wallace.

Ten 10 Brewing Co.'s name is a reference to the bar's address: 1010 Virginia Avenue in Orlando.

Located across the street from The Fresh Market and the Mills Park plaza in Orlando, Ten 10 Brewing Co. was originally meant to house the Orange Blossom Brewing Co. brewery. When plans for that fell through, Wallace, a former sales representative for Terrapin Brewing, decided to open his own brewery at the site and craft his own beers.

"This is my chance to do my version of it (beer)," Wallace said. "We make fun, exciting beers."

“It's not your dad's light beer,” Wallace said, but quickly added that Ten 10 Brewing Co. does have light beers, only theirs are “flavourful”.
