Of beer, an enthusiast has said that it could never be bad, but that some brands might be better than others.

USA, MA: Trillium Brewing Company unveils second facility in Canton
Brewery news

A small brewery in Fort Point now has a second, much larger, location south of the city. Trillium Brewing Company unveiled its new Canton facility on December 14, according to Boston Magazine, marking the completion of the brewery's planned expansion.

Within the Canton brewery's 16,000 square feet at 110 Shawmut Rd., Trillium has two tasting rooms and retail space, not to mention a drastically larger brewing space than the Fort Point location.

Founders JC and Esther Tetreault first opened Trillium in 2013, selling their farmhouse style beers in Fort Point and working off a 10-barrel system and a 30-barrel cellar. Up to this point, Trillium has produced around 2,500 barrels of beer per year. With the Canton facility in play, the brewery's capacity balloons to around 35,000 anticipated barrels.

In Canton, guests will be able to sample beers, chat with the team, and observe production in the open-concept space. The current beers available at the new space include: Sleeper Street IPA, Launch Beer Pale Ale, Pot & Kettle Oatmeal Porter, Pier American Wheat Ale, Trillium Farmhouse Ale, and a citra dry-hopped saison called Free Rise.

The Fort Point location will remain operational, according to Boston Magazine, as a sort of lab for the Tetreaults.
