Canada, NB: Johnny Jacks Brewery opens in Oromocto, New Brunswick

The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that a new brewery quietly opened in the small town of Oromocto, New Brunswick just before the holidays.

Johnny Jacks Brewery has been founded by the father-daughter team of David and Vanessa Foss and partner Young Joo Lee.

Named after family ancestor Jack “Johnny” Gullison, a World War I soldier who brewed his own beer, Johnny Jacks currently has two beers in production – Smokin’ Amber and Snowshoe Winter Ale – with both of them available exclusively at the Sour Grape Cafe next door to the brewery.
