USA, FL: Big Storm Brewing Co. to launch in Clearwater on February 20
Big Storm Brewing Co. announced on February 18 the official ribbon cutting and the grand opening of their new 16,000 square foot brewing facility and taproom in Clearwater. With more than 12 varieties of handcrafted local beers and 6 exclusive wines on tap, Big Storm Brewing Co.’s 49th street location is offering the community something that everyone can enjoy.
Started in 2012 in Odessa, Florida, Big Storm Brewing Co. was created to fill a void in the local craft beer market – artisanal and complex brews that cater to both craft beer enthusiasts, and regular beer drinkers alike. “With the popularity of Big Storm growing statewide, we simply needed a facility that could handle the consumer demand,” states Mike Bishop, Founder and CEO of Big Storm Brewing Co. “This new manufacturing facility will predominantly focus on brewing, canning and packaging our core brands Arcus IPA, Wavemaker Amber Ale and Helicity Pilsner,” Bishop continued.
The 16,000 square foot vacant warehouse, was designed and built by Systems Design Engineering, Inc. (SDE) out of Leesport Pennsylvania, who hired all local contractors to perform the construction. SDE is widely known for building the 100,000 square foot D.G. Yuengling facility in Pottsville, PA.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place from 1:30pm – 3:30pm on Saturday, February 20th and includes a speech by Pinellas County Congressman David Jolly and other dignitaries, brewery tours, and an exclusive sampling.
