Australia: Lion Nathan, Australian brewery, announced on 23 July 2004 that having satisfied all conditions, it has settled the sale of its portfolio of 41 Victorian hotels. As a result, Lion Nathan has received payment under the sale agreement and has transferred all operating responsibilities of all of the venues, effective 19 July 2004. Lion Nathan is looking forward to developing a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the purchasers, Adam Clark and Michael Thiele.
