Poland: The conflict between Grupa ¯ywiec and Browar Ciechanów (BC) brewers continues over the ownership rights to the Królewskie brand. ¯ywiec has made it quite public that it believes that Ciechanów has no rights to the brand name, while BC claims that it bought the rights to the brand from Austria's Brau Union when it brought a brewery from the latter. The matter will be resolved in court.
