Ukraine: In July 2004 Ukraine exported about 345,000 tonnes of barley for 474 hryvnias per tonne (5.33 hryvnias = $1). In June 2004 Ukraine shipped abroad about 112,700 tonnes of barley, under ProAgro reports. According to operative statistics, as of August 3, 2004, barley has been harvested from 3,007,200 hectares (64 % of forecast). The amount of barley grain, collected as of the day, is 7,257,300 tonnes at a yield of 2.66 tonnes per hectare, AgriMarket.Info reported.
