USA, NJ: Jughandle Brewing ready to open its doors in Tinton Falls
Eight months after signing a lease, Jughandle Brewing is ready to open its doors and debut its lineup of craft beers, Asbury Park Press reported on June 17.
The brewery will be open for tours and tastings Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.
“Everyone is very excited that we’re opening, (we’ve) been looking forward to it,” said part-owner Michael Skudera. “We have great support and (hopefully) great turnout over the weekend."
Skudera, of Tinton Falls, met his business partners Pete Artherholt of Tinton Falls, and Chris Hanigan of Red Bank, at a party in 2014 and tried their home-brewed beer. He said it was among the best he’d tasted.
The men decided to go pro and signed a lease last October for a space in a former 3,000-square-foot flower shop in the Tinton Falls Centre on Asbury Avenue.
The buildout has been an eight-month process that has culminated in a completely renovated space, which can fit over 100 guests in its 2,000-square-foot tasting room.
