USA, TX: Two Wheel Brewing Co. eyes November or December opening
Two Wheel Brewing Co., Buda’s first brewery, will open in November or December, said Marc Woffenden, who co-owns the brewery along with his wife, Alexis, Community Impact Newspaper reports.
Mark said the company was on track to finish construction on its facility at 535 S. Loop 4, Buda, by mid-September. When construction is completed the duo will be waiting for permits from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
Marc said the brewery will begin by brewing three staple beers, including an India pale ale, a blonde ale and an amber ale. Additionally, Two Wheel will have a 1-barrel system for small-batch brews.
Marc Woffenden said Two Wheel Brewing Co. will start off brewing three beers, including an India pale ale, a blonde ale and an amber ale, when the brewery opens in November or December.
“We’ll be doing some one-offs and experimental beers,” he said. “When it’s gone it’s probably never going to come back.”
Marc said the brewery will host food trucks to accommodate customers at the brewery’s 1,200-square-foot tasting room.
In addition to selling pints for on-site consumption and filling growlers for customers to take home, Marc said the company plans to distribute its brews to local bars. So far he has received a positive response from Buda bar and restaurant owners.
“At this point our job is to make good beer that they can sell,” he said.
