Canada, ON: Signal Brewery aims at June 17th opening in Corbyville
A new brewery located in the former home of one of Canada’s longest running alcohol companies has announced that it will be launching next month, Canadian Beer News reported on May 8.
Founded by local entrepreneur Richard Courneyea, Signal Brewery is located at 87 River Road in Corbyville – a town now part of the city of Belleville – in a set of buildings that once housed the Corby Distillery.
Signal will be opening on Saturday June 17th with an open house from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM, followed by a party starting at 7:00 PM with a live performance by Bruce Springsteen cover band Tommy Youngsteen.
Brands planned to be available for the launch include Radio Tube (“not too complex or too hoppy, but very delicious”), Wave (“a juicy beer […] that has this amazing fruity fragrance”), Ohm (“tasty, easy drinking beer”), and Byte (“a very hoppy IPA”).
