USA, WA: Bent Bine Brew Co. finally serving up beers in Belfair
Bent Bine Brew Co. is finally serving up beers in Belfair, Kitsap Sun reported on May 19.
The much-anticipated Highway 3 brewery opened May 12 with a limited, three-day-a-week schedule.
Tim Masbruch, who founded Bent Bine with his brother Tod, said the business was warmly welcomed. It is, after all, the only microbrewery in Mason County.
"We've been at capacity a couple of nights," Masbruch said.
The tasting room features six Bent Bine beers on tap, including a signature IPA, a citrusy pale ale and a dark take on an Irish red. Outdoor seating is available.
Bent Bine's full 10-barrel brewhouse was recently delivered. The brewery will expand its hours — and beer production — once the "miles of tubing and wiring" have been installed, Masbruch said. That will take about a month.
For now the Bent Bine brewers are working with a much smaller pilot system. The brewery is currently open from noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday at 23297 Highway 3 NE in Belfair Landing.
