USA, VA: Eavesdrop Brewery expected to open on March 9
Eavesdrop Brewery is expected to open March 9 at 7223 Centreville Road, #115, in the Yorkshire area, Inside NoVa reported.
The brewery features a large tasting room and production facility in a former racing pigeon loft. The loft has been renovated with 20 taps, a rooftop bar and plenty of comfortable seating. On the grounds, you’ll find a hops garden, apple trees, berry bushes and more. These areas have been outfitted with family-style seating and fire pits.
Eavesdrop will produce a variety of beers on their 3-barrel system, with an emphasis on farmhouse styles, IPAs and barrel-aging. There will also be a focus on producing collaboration beers with local and foreign breweries.
There are plans to work with local chefs and restaurants to organize bespoke beer dinners and tasting events.
Brewery direction and operations are overseen by Chief Operating Officer Joe Rivera, who has worked at Old Ox Brewery and 3 Stars Brewing Company. The concept for a collaboration-focused brewery was conceived and funded by local entrepreneurs Jeb Carney and Frank Madden. Carney, Madden and Rivera are already planning the first expansion into an adjacent building to accommodate a larger production area, kitchen and additional seating.
