Canada, AB: Big Rock Brewery provides update regarding proposed JV with Fireweed Brewing

Big Rock Brewery Inc. provided on June 15 an update regarding Big Rock's proposed joint venture with Fireweed Brewing Corp. ("Fireweed"), as previously announced April 19, 2018.

Although the joint venture was originally anticipated to commence in June 2018, various conditions precedent to the formal commencement of the joint venture remain outstanding. Therefore, while Big Rock continues to work towards the satisfaction of these conditions precedent, the joint venture has not yet taken effect, the company said.

Big Rock remains committed to the strategic rationale of the proposed joint venture, and will provide further updates in due course.
