USA, ME: The Pour Farm brewery officially open for business in Union
The Pour Farm brewery, 56 Crawfordsburn Lane, Union, officially opened for business July 26 with a three-barrel brewhouse, tap room and outdoor beer garden, the Courier-Gazette & Camden Herald reported.
The brewery opens with a summer lineup of six beers, ranging from a sessionable blond ale to several punchy IPAs to an American amber and an English brown porter.
Brewer Bill Stinson has been making beer since 1987, and constructed the new brewery with the goal of growing hops and botanicals for the beer in an adjacent field starting next year.
The Pour Farm beer is available in the tap room in (flights, pints, and pitchers, and in growlers to go. There are no plans to can or bottle the beer. The tap room is open Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
