Slovakia: USDA's October estimate for Slovakia’s barley production is 940,000 tonnes, 17 % higher than last year and 32 % above the five-year average. There was less land available for spring crops as a return to moderate winter temperatures prevented another large-scale rapeseed winterkill, USDA said.
