USA, VA: Wild Wolf Brewing Company’s new Charlottesville location now officially open

On June 2, the Wild Wolf Brewing Company officially opened its brand new location in downtown Charlottesville, NBC 29 News reported on June 3.

Within minutes, a crowd of eager people lined up to check out the food and drinks that they would typically have to go to the brewery's flagship location in Nelson County. Unfortunately, right now Wild Wolf is unable to serve its own beers at this location due to a licensing holdup.

“We cannot buy our beer from the distributor to sell it we can certainly not bring it here and sell it so we wait until our T.T.B. [Tax and Trade Bureau] license gets approved and those are delayed because of the government shutdown,” said Mary Wolf, president of Wild Wolf Brewing Company.

In the meantime, the restaurant is still serving other Virginia beers.

Wild Wolf Brewing Company is celebrating its expansion all week with hourly raffle drawings for T-shirts, daily drawings for a beach vacation and on Saturday, June 8, the grand prize drawing for a 5-day cruise to the Bahamas.
