USA, GA: Brewpub Best End Brewing Co. to hold official opening on September 20
Brewpub Best End Brewing Co. officially opens to the public at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 20, at the Lee + White complex in West End, just off of the Westside Beltline trail in Atlanta. The brewpub is located next door to Cultured South fermented market and taproom, Eater Atlanta reported on August 21.
Best End, owned by brewer Tim Schiavone, chef Cory Burke, and Rob Hayes, features a 20 barrel brewery and a three barrel pilot system brewing ales, pilsners, porters, lagers, IPAs, and sours and a restaurant with a chef’s area serving what’s being described as “Southeast island food”. In other words, surf and turf, vegetables, and snacks such as charcuterie and cheeses.
Beyond beer, the bar at Best End offers cocktails, tiki drinks, and milkshakes and slushies as well as a selection of natural wine on its menu.
The brewpub plans to host two 50-person preview dinners on Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14 prior to the grand opening.
Each evening promises a different menu of five dishes served family-style from Burke, along with beers like a German pilsner called Anxiety, brewed with rye and American hops, and the hazy Lack of Focus IPA, blended with American and New Zealand hops and “a very neutral grain”. Cocktails and wine will also be served during dinner.
