USA, OH: Cincy Brewing Co. launches in Cincinnati
Rivertown Brewing's former home in Lockland has new life as another brewery reopens those doors to the public, the Cincinnati Business Center reported on September 5.
Cincy Brewing Co. hosted its grand opening on Aug. 26 at 607 Shepherd Dr. in Lockland in the space Rivertown occupied before that brewery moved to a larger space in Monroe in 2017.
The brewery is a project by Rob Rosen, an attorney and former captain and judge advocate in the U.S. Army. The Cincinnati native currently lives in Albuquerque, N.M., but wanted to open something in his hometown with the goal of moving back to the Queen City.
Cincy Brewing Co. has a full liquor license and sells wine and cocktails as well as its own brews on draft. The taproom is anchored by community tables in its center with giant Jenga, cornhole, chalkboards and TVs to entertain guests and families.
The brewery is currently open Thursday 4 to 10 p.m., Friday 4 to 11 p.m. and Saturday noon to 11 p.m.
