Canada, BC: Bright Eye Brewing now open in Kamloops
A new brewery and taproom promising to offer a “fresh, ever-changing variety of innovative beers served right from the tanks they were made in” is now open in Kamloops, the Canadian Beer News reported on November 4.
Bright Eye Brewing has been founded by brewers Bryan Craig and Tyler Windsor with partners Mitch Forgie and Richard Marken, and quietly opened its doors late last week. According to a report on iNFOnews.ca, the spacious two-storey taproom features unique decor including “a refurbished Mini Cooper, a mural by local artist Kelly Wright and live tree in the centre of the dining area.”
Beers on tap at the bar include Dexter Milk Stout (5% abv), Five Alarm Funk Kveik Farmhouse Ale (4.7% abv), Juice Springsteen Hazy NEIPA (6.6% abv), Strawberry Julius Milkshake IPA (6% abv), Vinous Pinot Gris Farmhouse Ale (4.7% abv), and Jammin’ Raspberry Milk Stout (5% abv). The food menu developed by head chef Sterling Lamarsh features snacks, sandwiches, pizzas, and shaping plates drawing from a variety of culinary styles including Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Cajun.
Bright Eye Brewing is located at 292 Tranquille Road in Kamloops, and is open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily.
