Russia: Heineken N.V. is negotiating about starting bottling one of the word’s famous beer brands, Guinness, in Russia, local media revealed. This is a part of Heineken’s expanding strategy in Russia. After becoming the owner of four plants in Russia, Heineken has set the target of increasing its brands portfolio. According to analysts, with materialization of the project, the volumes of Guinness beer brand might increase from 100 thousand litres to 1 million litres per year in Russia.
