USA, TX: Vector Brewing now open for curbside pickup
Veronica and Craig Bradley can’t catch a break. They left their jobs to open Vector Brewing at the newly remodeled Lakeridge Village, then the federal government shut down in January of 2019 and they lost access to their loan through the Small Business Administration. Friends donated more than $12,000 via an online fund to keep their project progressing, and they made plans for the VIP opening of their brewpub – smack dab in the middle of a pandemic, the Advocate Media reported on April 8.
But COVID-19 is no match for the Bradleys.
The Lake Highlands couple began taking online orders for curbside pickup on April 4 and were inundated with requests for pizza and beer.
“That’s no CVS receipt,” joked a photo caption they posted to social media, “those are orders bombarding our kitchen on Saturday night. You animals blew through 700 pounds of pizza dough and nearly 1500 crowlers!”
To accommodate demand, the Vector crew has stepped up production and streamlined the order and pick-up process to prepare for the coming weekend. All orders are taken online beginning at 4 p.m. and they ask picker-uppers to place order numbers on windshields for easy curbside delivery. If you prefer to pick up from the patio, they ask that you wait behind boards spaced 6 feet apart until your food and beverages arrive.
You may view the menu and order online here. (If you don’t see food as an option, it means they’ve scaled back temporarily until they can fulfill every order.)
Vector Brewing is currently open from 4-9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday and located at 9850 Walnut Hill #405, Dallas, TX.
