USA, TN: Jackalope Brewing Co. not to reopen its original location in Nashville
One of Nashville’s most popular breweries won’t be reopening one of its locations due to the pandemic, the Nashville Business Journal reported on February 16.
Jackalope Brewing Co. CEO and founder Bailey Spaulding announced on February 15 that the brewery would not be reopening its original location, "The Den", at 701 8th Ave. S., ending its nearly 10-year run.
Instead, the brewery has moved all operations to 429B Houston St. in Wedgewood-Houston. Dubbed “The Ranch,” the space houses a 15,000-square-foot brewing facility, taproom and private event space.
“When Covid hit, we consolidated our business to the Ranch, as it didn’t make sense to have two locations running that close to each other,” Spaulding wrote in a statement posted to the brewery’s Twitter account. “Now we are in the final months of our lease at the Den, and with the state of the world being as it is, it doesn’t make sense to re-open it for such a short period of time.”
The Ranch taproom is open Thursday and Friday 2-9 p.m., Saturday 12-9 p.m. and Sunday 12-6 p.m. Brewery tours are also available for small groups on Saturdays.
