USA, MN: Warrior Brewing Company holds its first beer canning
For two veterans ideas were brewing up for the past seven months, FOX21 reported on June 21.
Warrior Brewing Company in Duluth held their first canning of three unique beers. Local owners, Matt Caple and Ben Gipson met in the brewing industry while raising funds for veteran organizations.
They came together with a plan seven months ago and are ready for distribution. A portion of their profits will be donated to local veteran groups.
“Every month we’re gonna actually showcase a different veteran support group,” said co-owner Matt Caple. “This month we’re gonna have “strong compass” come in and they’re gonna help us brew up the barbarian which is our imperial stout, and then we’re going to barrel age it for a few months. And then those proceeds will go directly back to that organization.”
Warrior Brewing is offering a Barbarian Imperial Stout, Valkyrie Golden Honey Ale, and Patriot Lactose IPA. All three craft beers offer something different in flavor.
“It’s a big relief how that it’s finally in the can and everything is good to go,” said co-owner Ben Gipson. “Super excited about it.”
Warrior Brewing Company will be distributing beers to local grocery and liquor stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The brewing company also has plans to eventually open a public tap room.
