USA, NJ: Human Village Brewing Company to close down for good at the end of the year
Human Village Brewing Company on November 14 announced its time in the borough will come to a close at the end of the year.
The owner of the property the brewery leases at 148 South Broadway, Pitman has sold it, according to Richard Myers of Human Village.
"I would like to thank everyone for their support through the years," Myers said in a post on Human Village's Facebook page. "Owning the brewery and getting to know all of you has been an amazing experience. This place has always been about the community, getting to know you all, the music, and the fun that all of us have had together. The connections and this place have both been so very special to me, but as with everything, there is a time that it comes to an end."
Human Village opened in downtown Pitman in 2016 in the space formerly home to Bus Stop Music Cafй.
Myers said there are no plans to relocate the brewery.
Events, including Human Village's popular open mic night, will continue through Dec. 30, according to Myers.
Pitman is home to another brewery, Kelly Green, which came to the borough just months before Human Village arrived.
Myers urged people to "keep an eye on" the Human Village Facebook page for upcoming happenings.
