USA, WY: Casper City Council grants new microbrewery liquor license to Frontier Brewing Company
On Tuesday, April 19, the Casper City Council voted 6–0 in favor of granting a new microbrewery liquor license to Frontier Brewing Company that will allow the business to operate out of its new space inside of the former Fox III Theater, the Oil City News reported on April 20.
Frontier is in the process of moving from its original 117 E. Second St. location to the former theater space located at 150 W. Second St. The company opened in Casper in 2017. Since that time, the number of breweries has grown to include Gruner Brothers, Skull Tree, Mountain Hops, Oil City Beer Company, Black Tooth, and, most recently, Stahoo’s Brewery and Taproom.
Another new brewery called Bull Horn Brewing has applied for a microbrewery license in Casper. On Tuesday, April 19, the city council set May 3 as the public hearing date for consideration of that request.
The fee for a microbrewery license is $500 and there is not a limit on the number of this type of liquor license that the city can issue.
