USA, OH: Rebel Mettle Brewery closes its doors two years after opening
Two years after opening, Rebel Mettle Brewery has closed its doors, Cincinnati.com reported on June 30.
The downtown craft brewery and taproom was open for its final day of business June 25.
A bartender at Rebel Mettle confirmed that the Central Avenue watering hole was closing, and said there are no plans to move or reopen the business somewhere else. Rebel Mettle's Google business page also notes that it's permanently closed.
The bar held its last live music event, called Mettle Fest II, featuring several bands on June 25.
Rebel Mettle opened in September 2020. The brewery specialized in lager, but also had a selection of IPAs, Pilsners, hard seltzers and seltzer-based cocktails.
Some canned Rebel Mettle brews are still available at bars and retail stores in Greater Cincinnati. It's unclear how long they'll remain on store shelves.
