Canada, BC: Mile Zero Brewing launches in Metchosin
A new nano-brewery and taproom with a “focus on small batch production in order to provide the freshest beer possible” is now open in Metchosin, a small community on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, the Canadian Beer News reported on December 12.
Mile Zero Brewing officially opened on Saturday December 10th, with three core beers – Blonde Ale (4.3% abv), Irish Red Ale (4.2% abv), and Pale Ale (4.3% abv) – as well as the one-off Metchosin Farmhouse Ale (4.3% abv) on tap from samples, pints, and growler fills.
The bar also offers non-alcoholic beverages such as Italian sodas and a selection of teas, and the food menu includes soft pretzels, pizza, shepherds pie, and other items from Urban Forage.
