USA, Colorado: On February 18 the stocks of Golden-based Molson Coors Brewing, the world's fifth-largest beermaker, slipped 85 cents, to $70.70. An index of Colorado stocks fell from a 52-week high, paced by St. Mary Land & Exploration Co., Whiting Petroleum Corp. and Molson Coors Brewing Co.
The Bloomberg Rocky Mountain News Colorado Index, a price- weighted list of companies based in the state, dropped 2.02, or 0.7 percent, to 278.53. More than two stocks fell for every one that rose, with eight unchanged. The index has risen 12 percent in the past year.
