Canada, BC: Buffalo Rouge Brewing holds grand opening in Kelowna
Buffalo Rouge Brewing held its grand opening in Kelowna on Saturday, Oct. 28, the Penticton Western News reported.
To celebrate their grand opening, they were open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with a variety of live music throughout the day by Nomwan and Hannah, Dan Tait, and Jackfish Narrows.
The brewery, which features their own beers, guest taps, and collaborations, also serves fully vegan food. For the grand opening, on top of their menu, they brought back their carrot dog and corn (carrot) dog as well as pulled pork (jackfruit) sliders, deep fried pickles, pumpkin pie mini donuts, and pumpkin chocolate.
They also had additional activities and prizes throughout the day and were able to extend their patio to allow more people to attend.
Owners Liam Mitchell and Crystal Cain attained the property on Aug. 1, 2022 and opened it just under a year later, on July 29, 2023, becoming the Central Okanagan’s 23rd brewery.
Buffalo Rouge Brewing is located at 105-1111 Gordon Drive.
