USA, PA: Moss Mill Brewing to close its doors for good on December 31st
Moss Mill Brewing will be closing its doors in Huntingdon Valley, after serving the community for the past 5+ years. The closing date is set for Sunday, December 31st, Breweries in PA reported on December 11.
The brewery announced the closure on social media last week.
Moss Mill Brewing originally opened their doors in February of 2018 founded by Nick and Evann Rodgers. Their story began much earlier than that when Nick began homebrewing with a kitchen setup and sharing his beer at local beer festivals. In addition Nick spent 7 years at Philadelphia’s Yards Brewing Company where he would work in their brewing lab. It was this experience that lead him to opening Moss Mill where the team there focused on creating small batches, and continuously growing the business.
Their taproom offered guests an intimate setting and interactive craft beer drinking experience. As the business grew so did their location as they would go on to expand by opening an upstairs taproom with a central wrap-around bar, additional TV’s, big screen projector and space for another 120 people. The brewery became well known for their charitable nature from supporting charities related to Autism, Breast Cancer and many other causes.
As of this writing customers have until December 31st to enjoy a Moss Mill beer and toast to their ownerships future.
