USA, MD: Mystique Barrel Brewing and Lager House to open in former Suspended Brewing Co. in Pigtown

As one brewery leaves Pigtown, another brewery from three industry veterans will look to take its place this summer, MSN reported on January 27.

Mystique Barrel Brewing and Lager House plans to open in the former Suspended Brewing Co. space at 912 Washington Blvd. in June. The opportunity to open there comes after the seven-year-old Suspended Brewing exited the neighborhood at the end of last year for a new space in North Baltimore.

Business partners Les White, Tom Pagano and Steve Marsh will take over the space next month for renovations, with plans to build a kitchen offering entrees such as pulled pork – a nod to the neighborhood – and small bites. The trio, who are leasing the space, plan to offer a variety of brews including European-style lagers, sours and barrel-aged wild ales.
