Ausbulk, the South Australian agri-business has achieved the takeover of about 93% of the Australia’s largest malt processor, Joe White Maltings, a Victorian-based company with plants in country New South Wales and Victoria, as well as Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, ABC News online reported.

David Thomas, the spokesman of Ausbulk, says the company will now compulsorily acquire the remaining shares in Joe White Maltings. Ausbulk's offer closes next Monday.
