USA: Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc. has signed on to continue its sponsorship of Denver's annual Cinco de Mayo Festival through 2007, The Denver Business Journal communicated on March 21. The company behind Bud Light has sponsored the festival for 15 of the past 17 years. The new sponsorship agreement will bring the famous Budweiser Clydesdales to Denver.

The festival attracts more than 400,000 people and 350 exhibitors a year. Sponsored by Newsed Community Development Corp. the two-day event will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 7-8 at Denver's Civic Center Park.

In addition to the Clydesdales, Anheuser-Busch will bring the True Music Roadhouse to the festival. Music fans can play various instruments and sing as part of the True Music Roadhouse exhibit. "All of us who represent Bud Light are proud to return to our role as presented sponsor of Cinco de Mayo," said Tom Salaba, vice presidenta nd general manager of Anheuser-Busch Denver. "This event already serves as a huge draw for our community each year, so we believe the addition of the Clydesdales and True Music Roadhouse will generate even more interest."
