USA, AZ: Copper Mine Brewing Company to permanently close on September 21
Copper Mine Brewing Company first opened its taproom at 3455 S. Palo Verde Rd. in 2017. At the time, the local beer scene was bubbling over with local breweries and Copper Mine was a great addition to the scene.
However, on Monday, September 16, the brew crew announced that they’re permanently closing on Saturday, September 21.
“The time has come, we at Copper Mine are sad to announce that we will be closing our doors,” the team shared. “We thank all of you and the craft beer community for the last seven-and-a-half years, we’ve truly enjoyed it.”
The plan is to remain open until the end of the day on Saturday, September 21 “or until the beer runs out — whichever is first.”
“Please come grab your last Copper Mine Beer and help say good bye!”

Copper Mine Brewing was founded in 2016 (taproom officially opened in 2017) by Jeff Kaber and Jeremy Pye. Kaber started brewing nearly a decade before opening Copper Mine and met with Pye a few years later at a local home-brewing session. Their hangouts quickly became business-planning sessions — Copper Mine Brewing was born.
