USA, CO: TightKnit Brewing Co. to close location in downtown Greeley
For more than seven years, Greeley residents and visitors made memories at TightKnit Brewing Co. as they grabbed a few beers, enjoyed live music and bonded over soccer and other sports in downtown Greeley.
But when the calendar turns to 2025 in a few weeks, the downtown location will be no more, Greeley Tribune reported on December 10.
TightKnit management announced it is not renewing its lease for next year in social media posts. Monday, Dec. 23 will be TightKnit’s last day at the downtown location at 813 8th St.
“This decision has been very hard to make, especially in consideration of our awesome staff, our incredible regulars and being a part of the downtown community, but it’s time for a new chapter and change of our operation going forward in 2025,” management wrote in the post.
In January, the brewery was named the 2023 Breakout Brewery by the website Porch Drinking as part of its Colorado Best in Beer Year-End Honors.
There is a silver lining for regulars and fans of the brewery, though. The post stated that there will be open beer hall hours at TightKnit’s Evans brewhouse, 3940 Carson Ave., Unit 4. The brewhouse is also scheduled to host private events, parties and tours in 2025.
Dec. 23 will also serve as TightKnit’s annual Christmas Eve Eve party, which is open to the public.
Ownership wasn’t immediately available to comment about the closure and what lies in store for the Evans brewhouse.
