USA, MI: Waypost Brewing Company shuts its doors for good

A popular brewery in Allegan County has shut its doors, WSJM reported on December 30.

Waypost Brewing Company in Fennville opened in 2018 and promptly started winning awards for its beers. However, the brewery announced on social media earlier this month its last day would be December 28.

The business says it chose the name Waypost “to signify a guiding point along the journey — a temporary stopping place where farmhouse beer, good company, and meaningful connections come together.” It continues, “After six incredible years, we’ve reached a new marker on our path: the decision to close our doors.”

The brewery received an outpouring of support in the days that followed and it expressed its heartfelt thanks.
