USA, NY: Copper Leaf Brewing Co. to close by end of February
Copper Leaf Brewing Co. in the village of Pittsford's Northfield Common is closing, according to a Facebook post from the owners, the Democrat and Chronicle reported on January 9.
According to the Jan. 8 post, Copper Leaf will close by the end of February or whenever the beer runs out, whichever comes first. Copper Leaf opened in 2021 and is owned by Bryan Meyer, Jason Meyer and Clay Killian.
The brewery was named after an iconic copper beech tree, which was believed to over 200 years old, in the heart of the village. The tree was removed in 2018.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 27, Copper Leaf will only be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and it will be closed Mondays through Thursdays, according to the post.
The owners encouraged customers to redeem gift cards before the business closes and to "stop in to raise a glass to a fond farewell."
"Thank you very much for being part of our Copper Leaf family. We're incredibly grateful for your support over the past four years. Your patronage has meant a lot to us. We will always remember the good times we shared with you, and wish you the very best in the future." — Jason, Clay, and Bryan.
