Ukraine: Exporters losing interest in purchases of feed barley

Export oriented-companies are losing interest in purchasing Ukrainian forage barley, AgriMarket.Info cited market operators.

Sales offers of the grain on domestic market have been coming in rarely, and selling prices for large lots were high. Market participants noted that making new purchase deals at the moment was risky. Ukrainian processing enterprises either refuse from purchases of barley, or prefer buying it ex-farm.

Market participants were also complaining of poor quality of the offered grain.
